Ladies & Gentlemen, as a real ritual is not done without rules, here are the 4 golden rules of Brazir:
1) Install
We recommend that you choose a flat and non -flammable surface to handle brazieros safely. As these are heavy equipment, we advise you to do all the manipulation to two people to avoid potential injury and damage to brazeros. We advise you to use 33/35 beech wood logs as dry as possible for your outbreaks.
2) Culotter
At first ignition, remember to degrease the plancha in stripped steel from your brazier in order to eliminate the metallic dust residues present. Then cheer up the plate: pour a drizzle of vegetable oil over the entire surface of the plancha part of the brazier when it reaches an average temperature. An too intense initial heating could cause twists to the hob. Then degrease it using a raclette type kitchen accessory and clean everything with paper towel. The baking sheet will become black. The heats are between 100 ° and 300 ° generally.
3) Clean
After each use, hot, clean the plancha of the brazier by pouring a net of water and scraping the food residues. Once the plancha has returned to room temperature, grease it with a paper towel. Remember to protect it in order to avoid rust (for example with the Galvanized Brazir protective sheets and protective covers). To turn off the fire, let it consume it as best as possible. It is possible to accelerate the process with a protective and suffocating sheet before emptying the brazier of any residue once returned to room temperature. You can clean your brazier in corten steel or heat paint with a high pressure cleaner in order to make any traces of oils and others disappear (as a reminder: in order to avoid an abnormal flow of oil on the brazier, it must be level on the 2 axes and it should not be superchared in oil).
4) Cherry your brazier
Once a year, we advise you to sand the brazier's plancha with a sander in order to extend its quality for your future cooking. Apart from its periods of use, remember to grease the plate at regular frequency (approximately once a month) to avoid any risk of corrosion.
